Care and Supported Housing
Our Care and Supported Housing work is delivered through 4 partner associations working in the West Midlands conurbations:
- Harden Housing Association – Birmingham
- Nexus Housing – Worcestershire
- Kemble Housing &
Herefordshire Supported Housing For Young People Project (SHYPP) – Herefordshire
- Whitefriars Housing - Coventry
Together they provide Care and Supported Housing Services for more than 3000 people in the Midlands region each year.
The Associations directly manage services ranging from emergency (crisis) accommodation and supported housing for young people (Foyers) to sheltered schemes for the elderly and direct access homeless accommodation for single men. The services can range from care homes, for people with learning difficulties or cerebral palsy, to floating support services, for older people, young people and lone parents. We also work in schools on homeless prevention work.
The 4 Housing Associations and SHYPP also work as a specialist landlord with a variety of regional and local support providers. Find out more information on the support provider organisations and client groups we work with here:
Together with these agencies, we provide a significant amount of tailored high quality accessible housing for some of the region’s most vulnerable people.
