Residents Associations
A Residents’ Association is a voluntary group, made up of local residents who represent the interests of everyone living in a particular area. It plays a large part in dealing with issues and problems in their community, as well as organising social events and helping to build a better community spirit.
Residents’ Associations are set up for everyone to join. Membership is open to everyone living in the area covered by group and they do not discriminate against members of the community because of race, disability, sexual orientation, age, gender, religion or belief, gender identity or any other reason.
Being part of a Residents Association gives residents the opportunity to make friends and learn new skills whilst making a valuable contribution to their community.
